In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on iOS in the United Arab Emirates demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 1.8K in late December and reaching approximately 2.9K by the end of March. Weekly active users also grew from about 12K to 14.4K over the same period.

Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet experienced a consistent rise in weekly downloads, increasing from around 530 in late December to 829 by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a positive trend, starting at 8.3K and reaching 9.3K by the end of the quarter.

Sweat Wallet had a fluctuating download pattern, peaking at 1.3K in early January and then declining to around 415 by the end of March. Weekly active users varied as well, starting at around 14.5K, peaking at 16.5K in early January, and settling at just under 15K by the end of the quarter.

MetaMask - Blockchain Wallet showed moderate weekly downloads, starting at 252 in late December and reaching 337 by the end of March. Weekly active users saw a gradual increase from about 6.9K to 7.1K over the same period.

OKX: Buy Bitcoin BTC & Crypto maintained relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging from 247 to 341 throughout the quarter. Weekly active users showed a steady increase, starting at around 1.6K in late December and reaching 1.9K by the end of March.
